We discuss the reason for your visit and gather the information needed to understand the causes of the problem. We review any imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) and your specialist's prescription.
A complete examination to fully understand the issue and identify its causes. Postural assessment and diagnostic tests — and, where needed, sport-specific dynamic tests.
Treatment draws on osteopathic manual therapy, a progression of exercises and modern instrumental-therapy equipment — calibrated to your specific problem.
The following sessions are agreed with you. There is no standard number of sessions to solve your problem: the pathway is a contextualisation of the condition based on the data collected in the first session, on its evolution and on the adaptation your body shows to the treatment.
A pathway built together, step by step — towards your return to movement.

I'm a physiotherapist and osteopath specialised in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation.
I graduated from Sapienza University of Rome with 110 cum laude and went on to specialise in Postural Re-education with the Mézières Method. I then qualified as an osteopath at the EOP School of Osteopathy — Alain Bernard.
I work at the Blu Physio studio in Testaccio, alongside a medical-rehabilitation team. My experience spans my work with the Serie A Futsal League and my role as physiotherapist within the orthopaedic team at Clinica Pio XI.
+100 five-star reviews on Google. A selection of voices from patients, professional athletes and international staff.
"Friendly and extremely skilled at his job. Within a week I saw significant improvements and after a month I was practically healed and back competing at full capacity."
"He is the one who identified that a misdiagnosis has taken place in my case, thereby literally saving my Achilles tendon from becoming unusable. Huge thanks again to my great physiotherapist!"
"Highly skilled with athletes and dancers too, and always available. After knee surgery I made incredible, unexpected progress in very few sessions."

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that aims to help the patient regain the ability to carry out daily or sporting activities lost due to a condition, trauma or surgery. The physiotherapist uses therapeutic exercise and instrumental physical therapy (Tecar therapy, laser therapy, etc.) and, among other methods, manual therapy (massage and thrust manipulation techniques): this is where the work can overlap with that of the osteopath.
Osteopathy deals, broadly, with movement and, more specifically, with the reductions in movement that can affect all the mobile structures of the body, negatively impacting its function and state of health. The osteopath mainly uses manual techniques, such as thrust manipulations (the well-known "clicks") and the mobilisation of articular, ligamentous or musculo-tendinous tissues.
Often, combining these two disciplines is the winning key to identifying and solving the patient's problem.
Physiotherapy and osteopathy are both healthcare disciplines that treat dysfunctions of the body. The main benefits of combining them are:
Physiotherapy and osteopathy are indicated:
There is no single answer that applies to every patient: it depends on your specific condition and on your doctor's recommendations. In general, physiotherapy and osteopathy have no absolute contraindications, but there are relative ones, linked to the time elapsed since the onset of the condition, since surgery or since a traumatic event. Always consult your doctor or your trusted physiotherapist-osteopath.
There are no absolute contraindications to rehabilitation treatment: in absolute terms every patient can be treated, with the appropriate distinctions and therapeutic care depending on the specific case.
However, there are relative contraindications: treatment may be inadvisable during certain specific phases of care, such as the days immediately after major surgery, the days after a serious trauma, or certain flare-up periods of chronic or recurring conditions.
A single session lasts 60 minutes.
The complete course of treatment varies in length and frequency depending on the patient's therapeutic needs (the type of trauma, injury or surgery; the recommendations provided by the doctor).
Weekly frequency varies according to the specific case and to medical and therapeutic advice. As a general guide:
